  • Recognize clinical manifestations of congenital syphilis
  • Describe standard workup for syphilis exposed and likely infected infants
  • Formulate a management plan for the infant exposed or infected with syphilis
  • Describe best practices for managing syphilis during pregnancy with intent to prevent vertical transmission
  • Recognize when to refer to an Infectious Disease Specialist
