Target Audience
Family physicians, specialist physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, mental health professionals, pharmacists, physiotherapists, dentists, social worker, residents, researchers, health sciences students, and other health care professionals.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this conference, participants will be able to:

Apply culturally sensitive, equity-informed care strategies to manage pain in Indigenous populations.

Integrate mental health and substance use considerations into chronic pain management.
- Assess and implement effective and safe practices for opioid use in pediatrics and older adults, and psychedelics in pain management.

Implement national standards and tailored approaches for pediatric pain management and mental health assessments.

Develop practical strategies for handling complex pain cases, including those in rural settings and involving TMJ dysfunctions.

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada: This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Continuing Medical Education Division, University of Saskatchewan for up to 6.5 credit hours.
