Dr. Brittany Ellis
Dr. Ellis currently works for the Saskatchewan Health Authority as the Provincial Lead for Geriatric Emergency Medicine and she works clinically as an emergency physician in Saskatoon. Dr Ellis completed her FRCP in Emergency Medicine at the University of Ottawa, and her fellowship in Geriatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Toronto. Prior to medicine Dr. Ellis was awarded a Master’s of Science in Public Health at the University of Edinburgh. Her current portfolio is focused on improving acute care for older people through research, quality improvement and innovative models of care in the ED, as well as enhancing our understanding of how older people access, utilize and leave health care with a mandate to optimize these transitions of care and overall service efficacy.
