Brian Buchanan

Brian Buchanan completed training in internal medicine, critical care medicine, and critical care ultrasound. He practices as a general intensivist and flight/transport physician. Brian is nearing completion of a Masters of Medical Education (Dundee University) with a focus on training and assessment of competency in critical care ultrasound and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Echocardiography in Critical Care Echocardiography. Brian is the Director of AlbertaSono and oversees an acute care ultrasound fellowship. His clinical and research interests include medical education, critical care ultrasound, simulation, and procedural training.
